Items that resemble the Early American periods of the pioneer days (Laura Ingalls Wilder) through the turn-of-the-century 1800s Victorian time period (Anne of Green Gables/Huckleberry Finn): |

Prairie dresses, pinafores, pantaloons, non-designer blue denim overalls, straw hats, lace-up boots, suspenders, bonnets, walking sticks, top hats, metal lunch tins, school slates. Items may be clean and second-hand resembling (do not have to be authentic) these periods enough to pass in a local theatre, a photograph booth, a tea house, or a child's dress-up collection. No cardboard or plastic unless of exceptional quality. Avoiding real fur. |

Donations of clothing, items, and places to announce the auction when it appears are greatly appreciated. WG
has the option to refuse or discard inappropriate items or re-donate items
not suitable or better suited for other purposes. A non-profit receipt
for fair value will be issued upon request. This fundraiser will be used
for free-flowing cash towards whichever project needs the most attention,
which automatically includes a tithing towards one of our sister non-profits.

Future fundraising themes will be in this order: |
||||
|
1. Non-violent storybook character clothing and props (no masks) that resemble well-known literary characters: (Dorothy, Tom Sawyer, Raggedy Anne and Andy, Harry Potter, Peter Rabbit, Alice in Wonderland, etc.). Clothing, ruby slippers, costume glasses, baskets, stuffed Toto, etc.) |

2. Enchanted, royal and spiritual characters (angels, fairies, wizards, priestesses, princes, sorcerers, princesses, gods and goddesses, queens, kings, etc.). Wings, wands, gowns, crowns, robes, chalices, careful selection of swords and knights' armor |

|
3: Ethnic costumes: (Traditional clothing and props resembling that from old Europe (Heidi and Peter, Sound of Music), Africa, Native American (including Hawaiian), Egyptian, American Old West, Asian, everyday or celebration attire and items including drums, necklaces and rattles, non-exploitative, non-overly stereotyped. No weapons. |
